There is a simple way to get to Chelmsford Creamery during that time:
In Lowell when you come to the gas station (located at the triangle interchange of Gorham and Carlisle Streets you will be forced to go right onto the established detour. Follow that to the end of that short street (with the cemetery to your right). You will come to a new temporary traffic light. Take a left onto Carlisle Street and cross over I-495. Carlisle Street will take you right back to Gorham Street in about 1 mile, right in front of our location. Adds less than a minute (allow for traffic light times) to your commute from Lowell to the Chelmsford Creamery.
